Credentials/Team Bio's

Project Manager (POC): Keith King
Keith King is the President and CEO of Keith King & Associates and has 35+ years experience in advertising and public relations. He worked for the (then) parent Corporations of ABC, CBS and Sinclair Broadcasting television stations. He is the primary project manager on all business.

Keith has recently completed the US Army Accessions Command (USAAC) Institutional Review Board Protocol for Human Research Behavioral and Social Sciences and is a certified Principal Investigator.

Keith King & Associates, LLC (KK&A) has the privilege of working with other professionals who have been in the business a similar length of time. KK&A has become a nationally recognized subject matter expert (SME) on organizing winning teams. Their ability to create cohesion and laser-like focus on a singular goal among the various team members who represent the "best of the best" from virtually every segment of the industry is a tribute to KK&A's get-it-done reputation. The KK&A team brings all of the resources needed to complete the tasks of any project.

Keith is the President of the Veterans Support Foundation, National Chairman of the Public Affairs Committee of the Vietnam Veterans of America and is a highly regarded Veterans advocate. Keith is a past State Commander and was the Public Affairs Commissioner for the Michigan Vietnam Monument. Appointed by Governor John Engler Keith served on the Michigan Veterans Trust Fund, a $50 million trust to assist Veterans in need.

He studied Communications at University of Pittsburgh and over the last 20+ years he attended a multitude of industry sales and management training programs conducted by the RAB, TVB, INTV, NAB, DMA and the Sterling Institute. He graduated from Macomb County Comm. College: Warren, MI with an Associates Degree in Business Management with Honors.

Creative Director: Graphic Art and Web Site Design: Ellen Duckman
Ellen is the Creative Director of Keith King & Associates and is President of the Orange Factory a cutting edge design studio. With a primary interest in visual identity campaigns, Ellen increased the scope of Orange Factory's portfolio to include all 2 dimensional design projects. These include logo design, marketing pieces, retail advertising and web design for local and national accounts. She has worked on every KK&A awarded GSA project and has worked with Keith for over 13 years.

Ellen graduated from Michigan State University's (MSU) renowned Advertising and Studio Art program with a BA.

Media Director: Barbara Mozer
Barb is the President of Mozer Media, LLC a woman owned media planning, negotiating and buying specialist. With almost 30 years of experience in marketing and advertising Barb has helped her clients develop strategic advertising plans and brand identity programs. Her skills and experience as the Sr. Vice President GM Mediaworks in regional planning and buying played a pivotal role in the formation of the current processes by which media is planned and bought today.

In 1985, Barb became broadcast manager of the Detroit office of McCann Erickson and led a Staff of 12. This team purchased broadcast media for all McCann-Erickson clients in the Midwest including Coca Cola and other major accounts with billing of over $100 million.

Barb pioneered the job share concept in the advertising industry and became a much sought after source for her blueprint on making the program so successful for 11 years while she raised her two daughters.

In 2000, Barb returned to full time management of the broadcast activity for McCann-Erickson clients in Cleveland with billing estimated to be over $25 million (including $3.5 million in diversity spending).

Finally, in 2002 with the development of GM Mediaworks, Barb was asked to manage the North Central region and developed strong ties with all the GM dealer groups, brand agencies and regional personnel. She formed Mozer Media in 2007.

Barb graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey with a B.A. in Marketing in 1980.

Public Relations: Bruce MacDonald
Bruce is President of MacDonald Communications and a principal partner in Liebler!MacDonald Communication Strategists. MacDonald is a veteran communications executive and spent 31 years with General Motors, the last eight of which he served as vice president of Saturn and GM Worldwide Communications. He founded MacDonald Communications in l995, a disabled veteran owned small business, and organized and served as president and CEO of Stratacomm's Midwest operations from 2000 to 2003.

MacDonald's diverse background includes advertising, financial and investor relations, new product publicity, events management, marketing, crisis communications, labor relations, philanthropy, and both internal and external public relations. Additionally, he spearheaded the national communications rollout of GM's OnStar telematics system.

In addition to his civilian career, MacDonald is a retired U. S. Army Major General who served as deputy chief of Army Public Affairs during Desert Storm and commanded the 300th Military Police Command and the 70th Division (TNG). He served on the 2005 Macomb County Base Realignment & Closure Committee (BRAC) before being named a commissioner on Governor Granholm's BRAC Task Force which brought some 1,150 new high-tech jobs to TACOM and expanded Selfridge's aircrafts. He was appointed the Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army for Michigan in 2005.

Recent clients include: Motor Cities National Heritage Area, Argonne National Labs, Lithia Motors, Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), Kolene Corporation, EDAG Inc., Smart Energy Solutions, Bosch RexRoth, Magna International, Energy Conversion Devices, General Motors OnStar, Events Solutions International, Route One, Ripplewood Industrial Partners, and the Army's National Automotive Center.

MacDonald holds a BA and MA from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Michigan State University. He is a graduate of the Army's Command and General Staff College, the Army War College and the National/International Security Program at Harvard.

Brand Management and Research: Marlene Stone

As President and owner of Intellitrends, Marlene has spent more than 20 years in the Market Research industry designing and implementing market intelligence programs enabling companies to validate and define strategic focus.

She honed her skills in the public opinion arena as a legislative staff member for a Canadian Member of Parliament in Ottawa. Under 18 years of building Intellitrends, her experience has spanned research applications for government, business to business and consumer retail environments and includes a strong and diverse client base including retail industry giants such as eBay, Little Caesars, and MASCO to GM, DCX, BlackBook Online, Plante & Moran and prominent industry organizations such as SAE-ARI, and The American Medical Association.

Intellitrends is a certified Woman-owned business and was named a 2008 CORP Magazine Best of Michigan Business! Professional certifications: MRA, PRC, QRCA.

Marlene holds degrees from The University of Western Ontario with additional honor degrees in French Language and Literature.

Multimedia Manager: Lon Winters
Lon Winters has been with the Riegner Multimedia department for 7 years and has been the department manager for the last 3 years. The Riegner Multimedia team is responsible for a variety of projects including websites, interactive CD applications, video and audio production, online training, Flash animation and development and any other electronic media used in training and marketing.
In addition to department and project management, Lon contributes website development and administration, Flash development and a programming including ASP, SQL, Actionscript, Javascript, and XML.

Lon has a background in the healthcare industry and more recently, training and training courseware development. Prior to his employment at Riegner & Associates, he worked as a classroom trainer for both the Detroit Medical Center (DMC) and DaimlerChrysler.

Washington Office and interactive support: Jeff Smith
Jeffrey is the KK&A Digital Director and VP/General Manager of the KK&A Washington DC office. Jeff developed the database, live links and the interactive "auto start" CD for all three KK&A GSA "Disabled Veteran Owned Business" directory projects.

Jeff holds a MBA and BS in Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College.

Administrative Support: Dana King
Dana is the CFO of Keith King & Associates has been a professional Office Manager for the past 15 years. Her duties include overseeing all clerical functions, which include tracking of all media invoices, sub contractors, and billing documents. Dana left her studies at Madonna University to accept an appointment in an advanced geriatrics work program, which lead her to working in the medical field before she joined KK&A on a full time basis.
